Fine art illustration of a fantastical landscape. A girl in a dress, carrying a basket, pauses on this side of the seashore by a wooden boat. The shore is littered with huge seashells amidst jewels. A pier arcs from the shore over the mouth of a river and onto the other side of the seashore, where sailboats are moored. A small, colourful crowd gathers around them. The bay continues around, with mountains in the backdrop; but up from the waters rises a colonnade like ramparts protecting the bay. In the sky above this colonnade rises a vision of a great white hall, gleaming with sunlight; a wondrous vision limned with clouds.
‘Molly’s Vision (Country Kerry)’, by John Stephens.
